Billing and Subscriptions
GeniSpace separates subscription entitlements from usage quota. A subscription controls available features and resource limits; quota records consumption of billable AI model requests.
Subscription plans
The platform recognizes plan codes such as FREE, PERSONAL, PRO, TEAM, and ENTERPRISE. The plans offered, display names, prices, billing intervals, quota grants, and limits can differ by edition and commercial catalog.
The Subscription page in your account is the authoritative source. Do not rely on a static document for a purchase decision.
Manage a subscription
Open the account menu and select Subscription, or go to /subscription in the Platform Hub.
You can review:
- Current plan and status
- Validity period or renewal date
- Included features and limits
- Available plans and billing intervals
- Subscription-order history
- Upgrade, renewal, or cancellation actions
Canceling an active recurring subscription schedules cancellation according to the terms shown at confirmation; current benefits normally remain until the paid period ends.
Edition-specific payments

Payment availability is controlled by deployment configuration. If a method is not shown, it is not available for that order.
Billing accounts and spaces
Personal space
Usage is attributed to the user's personal billing account.
Collaboration space
Billable usage is attributed to the collaboration space and charged to the space owner's billing account. Usage records still identify the member who initiated the request.
Transferring space ownership also transfers future billing responsibility after the transfer completes. Review this before confirming ownership changes.
What consumes quota
Billable usage can include:
- Conversational and task-agent model calls
- GeniAssistant and built-in agent model calls
- Tool flows that invoke a model
- Knowledge and Dataset embedding calls routed through the model gateway
- Context summarization and other model-backed processing
Purely deterministic tools do not become model-billable merely because an agent invoked them. The model calls around the tool can still consume quota.
Embedding calls made by Agent, Dataset, Worker, or another internal service are billed through the same user and space context when they use the platform model gateway. They are not anonymous “free internal” requests.
Quota balances
The quota page can distinguish balance pools such as:

When multiple pools exist, the service applies the consumption priority reported by the current billing API. The Platform Hub balance and transaction log are authoritative.
View usage
Open Quota Usage from the account navigation or go to /quota-history.
The page can show:
- Current total, recharged, and subscription balances
- Today's and current-period consumption
- Usage trend
- Recharge and transaction history
- Service/model attribution when available
- Subscription-balance expiry
Recharge
Open /recharge, choose a package and available payment method, then complete the order.
- Card and QR payments normally update after payment-provider confirmation.
- Bank transfer requires the exact order number in the transfer memo and may take one or two business days to confirm.
- Do not create repeated orders while a previous payment is pending.
- Keep the order number when contacting support.
Cost control
- Choose a model appropriate for the task instead of always selecting the largest model.
- Limit Agent-mode iterations and tool scope to the work required.
- Avoid repeatedly embedding unchanged data.
- Use
/compactwhen a long conversation carries unnecessary context. - Monitor collaboration-space usage because members consume the owner's quota.
- Review unusual model, Agent, or embedding usage in quota history.
Self-hosted edition
Self-hosted deployments can disable SaaS subscription and quota enforcement or replace it with organization policy. The interface displays a self-hosted notice when recharge and SaaS subscription management do not apply.
Troubleshooting
