Billing & Subscriptions
GeniSpace's billing system consists of two parts: subscription plans and quota billing. Subscription plans determine resource limits and feature availability, while quota billing charges based on actual usage.
Subscription Plans
GeniSpace offers four subscription plan tiers:

Actual limits are determined by your plan and what is displayed in your account area. The table above lists the default plan limits.
Managing Subscriptions
Open the Subscription page (/subscription) from your account menu in your GeniSpace account area.
Current Subscription
The subscription page defaults to the "Current Subscription" tab, which includes:
- Current plan name and status (Active / Expired)
- Expiration date
- Included feature list
- Usage limits (maximum file size, space members, knowledge bases, concurrent tasks)
If you are using a subscription tied to a collaboration space, the page may indicate that the plan applies via that space.
Pricing Plans
Switch to the "Pricing Plans" tab to view all available plans:
- Supports monthly and annual billing toggles (annual billing saves 20%)
- Each plan card shows pricing, included quota, and feature list
- Displays an "Upgrade" or "Renew" button based on current subscription status
Upgrade or Renew
- Select the target plan in "Pricing Plans"
- Confirm the subscription plan and price
- Choose a payment method. The available options depend on your edition: Stripe (card) on the international edition, or WeChat Pay, Alipay, and bank transfer on the China edition
- Complete the payment
Subscription History
The bottom of the page displays a subscription history list, including order number, plan name, amount, status, payment time, and validity period.
Cancel Subscription
After canceling a subscription, the current plan remains active until the end of the billing cycle, after which it automatically reverts to the Free plan.
Quota Billing
All AI services consume quota from your account balance, with real-time deductions on each use. Quota is measured in tokens.
Billable Service Types

Billing Accounts
Personal Billing Account
- Automatically created when a user first needs billing (e.g., when creating a collaboration space or accessing billing features)
- Registration bonus: New users receive 100,000 tokens upon first account creation; these are credited to the recharged balance and never expire
- Stores your quota balance (recharged + subscription) and usage history; supports top-ups
Collaboration Space Billing
- Collaboration space billing is based on the space owner's personal billing account
- When space members use services, quota is deducted from the owner's account
- All usage records are tagged with space and user information
- The space owner bears full billing responsibility for that space
Quota Sources and Accounting Rules
The quota balance is composed of two parts:

Quota Sources and Where They Are Credited

Quota Grant Schedule
- First grant: Credited immediately when your subscription payment is confirmed.
- Subsequent grants: Automatically credited on the same day of each month as your subscription start date (e.g., if you subscribed on the 15th, quota renews on the 15th each month).
- Month-end handling: If your subscription start date is the 31st and the current month has fewer days, quota is credited on the last day of that month.
- Bonus quota (from promotions): Credited to the recharged balance, never expires, consumed only after subscription quota is depleted.
Consumption Priority
When using AI services, quota is deducted in this order:
- Subscription Balance first — Use subscription allowance before recharged balance
- Recharged Balance second — Use recharged balance when subscription balance is insufficient
This ensures subscription quota is used before it expires.
Transaction Types
Quota transactions are categorized into the following types:

Quota Usage History
Open the Quota Usage History page (/quota-history) from your account menu in your GeniSpace account area.
Self-hosted (Standalone) deployments do not require quota usage tracking; this page will display a corresponding notice.
Statistics Overview
Three statistic cards are displayed at the top of the page:

Consumption Trends
A bar chart displays the daily consumption trend over the last 30 days, viewable by the following dimensions:
- Total Consumption — Aggregate consumption across all services
- Agent Service — Agent invocation consumption
- Operator Service — Tool invocation consumption
- Assistant Service — Platform assistant consumption
Service Usage Details
Usage details are displayed by service type, each showing total consumption and invocation count.
Recharge (Top-Up)
Open the Recharge page (/recharge) from your account menu in your GeniSpace account area.
Top-Up Process
- Select a Package — Choose a top-up package from the list; each package shows base quota, bonus quota, total quota, and price
- Select Payment Method — Choose from the payment methods available in your edition
- Complete Payment — Follow the payment method instructions to complete the transaction
Payment Methods
The methods offered depend on your edition. The international edition uses Stripe (card); the China edition uses WeChat Pay, Alipay, and bank transfer.

Top-Up History
A top-up history list is displayed at the bottom of the recharge page, including:
- Time, order number, package name
- Amount, quota quantity
- Payment method, status (Paid / Pending / Failed / Canceled / Expired)
For pending bank transfer orders, you can click to view the bank transfer details.
Self-Hosted Deployment
For self-hosted (Standalone) deployments, the system bypasses subscription validation and grants Enterprise-level permissions by default. No subscription payment is required, and quota usage is unlimited.
Cost Control Recommendations
- Monitor Regularly — Track quota usage trends and balance changes; view details in the Analytics module
- Plan Ahead — Set budgets based on space size (member count) and usage frequency
- Optimize Usage — Choose appropriate AI models and parameters to reduce per-invocation consumption
- Top Up Promptly — Top up when quota is running low to avoid service interruptions

- Statistics Data Delay: The system automatically generates missing historical statistics data
- Billing Account Not Created: Complete email verification to activate your account
- Space Billing Anomaly: Confirm the collaboration space owner has a valid billing account
